Re: Can't get Logic to Assign my Oxygen8...

2006-12-03 by pete_buchwald

Hey,

I have an Oxygen 8 (v.2) with the transport controls. I've had
mixed luck. It seems like I can go into Logic, in the Keyboard
Shortcuts editor (whatever it's called) and I can go into each
function and tell it to recognize the MIDI action I am selecting for
that function. That's how I got the transport to work. Then I had a
problem with the sequencer stopping unwanted or something .... so I
think what I did was hit the function in the editor that was something
like "re-callibrate all MIDI commands." Then I started building from
scratch, and saved that shortcut set.

This editor is also cool for using a standard keyboard, because you
can program your top three notes on the piano keyoboard, or the bottom
three to be record, stop, play ... or whatever you want.

     Pete
