Hi Man, I have it. I think that it is great. I'm still getting used to the way the compressor and expander work in the channel strip but it comes with some good presets as starting points and has been solid for me in Logic. Any host that is compatible with AU or VST will be able to load it. For that kind of money, I really don't think that you should rely on user feedback strictly. Have you tried requesting from Waves some additional time? Don't know how accomodating they would be but one would hope that they would give you a 7 day extension on you iLok.
