Re: [Logic_Cafe] Waves Plug-in Question [Before I Spend $750] on the SSL 4000

2006-12-11 by Fernstudio

Hi Man,

I have it. I think that it is great. I'm still getting used to the
way the compressor and expander work in the channel strip but it comes
with some good presets as starting points and has been solid for me in
Logic. Any host that is compatible with AU or VST will be able to load
it. For that kind of money, I really don't think that you should rely
on user feedback strictly. Have you tried requesting from Waves some
additional time? Don't know how accomodating they would be but one
would hope that they would give you a 7 day extension on you iLok.
