At first I only used Live in performance but now I'm improvising in Live in the beginning stages of composition in the studio. Logic is still my first choice for composition and remains the core of my primary DAW but my starting template in Logic now contains 12 tracks rewired to Live. Live allows me to improvise on different instruments (EWI, Keys, Pads) in a much more musical and intuitive manner without having to break the flow in order to fuss with the interface.
