I've had one for about a year and the onlt media I had problem with  
was and old batch of slow 2x DVD's - don't remember the brand. The up  
side is that it's one of the few drives on the market that can  
actually write ISRC codes as part of an audio CD - in spite that many  
other models claim that they can - they actually can't.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
