Logic Pro 7 mostly because it boots up
quicker than Logic Pro 6.
L7 seems to take a long time to boot - updating tree or whatever. I usually start it, then leave the room to make a call or get a snack and come back.
How did you determine your RAM was the cause?
Its amazing to me that Apple would allow L7 to ship in the state that it is, and then not even issue an update after so many months - they are quite quick to correct problems with OSX. I am starting to think that Apple wanted to grab the software technology of Logic for Garage Band and Soundtrack, but I am not sure they are seriously interested in making it a superior product. Their business is selling computers, and its in their interest to not dominate the competition (Protools, Digital Performer, Peak, Tracktion, Live, etc). Maybe the completely Apple-ized Logic will never appear.
