Tristan - I use the MyBOOK by Western Digital. The good thing about it is that you can configure the Raid setting on it through a little software utility that comes with it. If you keep it 0 then the whole drive is utilized where you can just drag n drop your stuff to backup. If you change it to 1, then it utilizes half of the drive space and automatically mirrors to the other half. Taken that it has two physical drives in it, if one fails, you always have an exact mirror of it on the other one, no matter which one that is.
