Yes BT (Brian Transeau). He has mentioned this in print interviews and you 
can find some video interviews on youtube. He was saying that he recorded rain 
falling then time corrected it on a micro-timing scale. He said that the notes 
go by so fast you can't really make out individual notes but the mind still 
recognizes little patterns even at that level.

He also a big Logic user, but he endorses everything. I heard him say he only 
uses macs and apples (in person, and in print) then later he saying how cool 
these AMD PC's are that they gave him.
