Need help with a computer stopping

2007-04-07 by Tim McLane

Can anyone help me? My computer constantly stops saying something
like "Core Audio was not able to process information fast enough" --
something like that. Here are my settings in audio preferences under
"Drivers":

I have a Imac G5 OSx version 10.4.9
PowerMac 8,2
number of CPUs: 1
Processor 1.8 GH Power PC G5
Memory : 2GB DDR SDRAM
Bus Speed: 600 MHz

Core audio: Diver Motu 828
enabled
i/o buffer size: 1024
recording delay: 0
max number of tracks: 20

64 busses (not checked)
Larger Disk buffer (unchecked)
24 bit recording (unchecked)
software monitoring (checked)

Process buffer range (large)
Rewire behavior (playback Mode (less CPOU Load)
Maximum Scrub speed (normal)
scrub response: normal

Any ideas?

Thanks.
