Apple Logic Pro /LogicExpress Discussion

I  recorded a long audio (wav)  file in Logic, chopped it up into  
regions, and saved the regions as wav files.  The bwav protocol is  
time-stamped, so I used a program called BwavLister to read the  
metadata and list the start times (in SMPTE time code) for each file.

The problem is that the start times listed in BwavLister are  
different from those shown on the logic smpte ruler, both in arrange  
and sample edit.  I tried recording both at 30fps and 29.7fps, with  
similar discrepant results.

Can anyone think why Logic would not jive with the stamped metadata?
