Yes there is an upgrade path from 5 to 7. I just upgraded my old PC  
software & XSKey from 5 to 7
with the old key.

I bought the upgrade from the apple site, I saw the upgrade box at  
the apple store too.
so no sales canned questions for me (thank you e-commerce!)
Did have the new code not be accepted by the XSKey website  
authorization,
Got the authorization code to tick within Logic when you select  
"XSKey manager (or something like that)
enter the codes there.
I think the site authorization area is not working correctly with the  
old keys (just a guess)
Go for it,
L7 is still a very cool jump from L5.
