Plug-ins on the MacBook

2007-07-22 by Skip Leeds

Thanks for the help so far, all . Logic Pro 7.2 is on the way.

I'm currently hobbling along with Cubase LE running on the MacBook. It's at
least allowing me to test the compatibility of my plugs - Stylus, Absynth,
and Miroslav all running well, so far.

However, I'm importing my PSP Audioware plugs - and I note that some are OS
9, some are OS X PPC, and only a few have been converted to UB. So my
question is:

(1) Do I use the VST or AU version of the plugins? I assume RTAS is for
ProTools? And what is MAS?

(2) Will these OS9 or PPC versions run, and if so, efficiently?

Sorry for the noob questions.Mac is a whole new world to me.
