Maybe you can do the upgrade for $199, then sell your dongle and Logic
7.2 to someone else for $299 - with the warning that they probably
won't be able to upgrade it, and make $100. Kinda like doing your own
academic deal for anyone.

Subject: [Logic_Cafe] Why buy new?
If Logic Studio doesn't use the dongle, doesn't that mean I
can buy
the upgrade and keep using Logic Pro independently with the XSKey?
What do I gain by buying at new copy at $499 vs. upgrading at $199?
