This happened on my G5(2x1.8) with LP7.2 with its graphics cards, and now on my new MacPro(4x2.6) with LS8 with its own (different) graphics card. The matrix is drawn fine, and you can scroll left and right and everything is fine - except all the notes appear to be missing. It happened to me many dozens of times yesterday. By the way, I am not overly impressed with the MacPro.
