Quick question: can any of you give an opinion about how MOTU Orchestral compares to Garritan? I have MOTU which sounds fine but when I listen to Garritan at my friend's studio (he has CuBase I think) it seems as though the strings sound a little smoother. thoughts? t _____ From: Logic_Cafe@yahoogroups.com [mailto:Logic_Cafe@yahoogroups.com] On Behalf Of GAmoore@... Is there an error message? I don't have the solo violin, but in the past, I installed only the AU version (of the kontact player) of Garritan Personal Orchestra and that worked fine (albeit with the ugly workaround of having to make two tracks for each instance, where one had a loop putting the mod wheel to max repeatedly). When I did the install this time, I didn't install that. Instead I got the Kontact player from NI, and copied the samples over, then I run it via Kontact 2 player. I feel its best to reduce as many middle men (programmers) as possible. ************** Start the year off right.
