Best Apple Loops editor

2008-03-03 by Gregory Anderson

OK, I'm not getting any love on my questions to this list as of late,
but I shall doggedly push forth:

I am FINALLY coming around to the use of apple loops for some of my
compositions, and would like to take some of the massive number of
samples/loops I have acquired but never listened to and convert them
to Apple Loops, complete with loop points and metadata. The Apple
Loops Utility seems kind of limited, and I've always done all my
sound editing in Logic, so I'm looking at a purchase here. The only
two programs that I see on the web are Iced Audio's AudioFinder and
Audiofile Engineering's Loop Editor. Are those what people are
using? Does anyone have a preference? Is there some other user-
friendly option that I am missing? Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Gregory
