There is actually a free logic environment at swiftkick.com that is a very useful strummer. I'm sure the other programs you mention have more tricks up their sleeves but they are not free. It utilises a series of chord memorisers and arpegiators to voice and strum all of the open position major and minor 6 string guitar chords in up and down strum. The speed of the strum is controlled by the settings on the arpegiators. If you required different voicings you can just edit the chord memorisers to suit.
