Motu has a good reputation, and I'm sure they will work fine for you.  
You mentioned M-Audio in another message, but I would stay away from  
it. M-Audio works great in combination with ProTools, but the drivers  
have some issues in combination with Logic. You might also have a look  
at the Tascam products. I have been very satisfied with the FW-1884  
which is a combination of 8 mike/line inputs, various midi and adat io  
and a complete control surface with motorized faders. There is also  
the smaller FW-1082 with 4 mike inputs.
