Re: [Logic_Cafe] Logic 5

2008-09-13 by F Stuart Leeds

It used to be a Windows program...sigh...

I do love my Mac, but I still remember that fateful Monday morning
back in ?2003 ?2004 when it was announced that Apple was buying
Emagic and the Windows platform would no longer be supported. Logic
for Windows (LAW) was left to languish at version 5.5.1...still a
quite workable piece of software.

All you need, Brian, is an XS-Key with the Windows license on it.
There should be lots of them around, since Logic 8 no longer requires
a key. I have one. I think the actual software may still be
downloadable off an Emagic legacy site.
