Ditto on what he said,

   I think when I had to solve that problem, using the event list, it may have been a "control" 
command.  Remember the max volume would be at or near a value of 127, that might help 
you identify the line of MIDI to delete.  It should also be at the beginning of the song, 
measure one, beat one, etc.  That should help you find it also.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
