I noticed you aren't using AMTs in your setup. I wonder if some of my
problems w/L7 are related to the AMTs. For the list: Is there anyone
with a complex setup who is using AMTs who has had exceptionally good
or bad experiences with L7?
Also, Chris, do you have L6 installed on the same computer as L7, did
you take it off, or did you never have it on?
I have emagic's AMT8 midi interface and Logic 6.4 still installed. And I am having problems frequently. I also have Radeon 9000 graphics board, Adaptec29160 ultra scsi (not hooked to an internal disk now), the UAudio card, sonnet 1.25 g upgrade board (formerly g4/400).
But I have a fair number of problems on my ibook (non -music computer) too. Last night OS 10.3.7 froze up and when I rebooted the date was set to 1967, the folder preferencs were screwed up, Safari was no longer on my dock - and this happens about once every month or two. I also have AOL crash about 3 times a week on this other computer, and the modem won't work for the first 10 minutes every morning. I even took it to the genius since its still under warranty and they didn't do anything other than to find all of the crash logs.
If I knew that getting a G5 would solve these problems then I think I will buy - as soon Jobs makes his speech and lowers some prices. But I am reading that some people with G5s have big problems too.
