Re: [Logic_Cafe] Re: Program Change/Bank change

the same way you send patch changes. when you send a patch change it send a bank change too I think. there are various options in logic to send patch changes and chase changes during play back. I found this a little problematic, so I forced the matter. I would record midi, then make a bank change and patch change - then stop. I would then look at the sequence (with no notes) to see what commands were read as the bank change and patch change - the copy and paste this to the start of the sequences to force these changes every time I play the song.

completely understand, but how do I send the bank message?

I know that one bank in my PSR has 0 & 112 as the MSB and LSB values.

I will experiment some more, but still have no clue. Everything I

tried doesn't do it.

Thanks in advance,

Adrian

experiment a little. for example with the Kurzweil it only accepts 100

patches per bank although logic and midi allow for 128.
