Apple Logic Pro /LogicExpress Discussion

Hello all- I'm Brian, and I'm new here. 
I recently purchased a used copy of LE7, an ART Tube MP with USB connection, and already had a good AKG condenser mic.

I seem to be getting a signal into the Tube MP, and into LE7- I just can't monitor the output. I have the headphones plugged in to the right jack, and am not getting any monitoring through headphones. I can hear iTunes just fine through the 'phones.

I have "software monitoring" selected.

Any tips as to where to go?

I have very simple needs- I just want to record to a click, and do layers of guitar and vocals- no MIDI necessary.
