Apple Logic Pro /LogicExpress Discussion

I know this is a long shot, but is there anyway to open a project  
that was saved in L9 in L8?  I don't have L9, can't see any need to  
get it, but someone is sending me a project that I will need to open,  
and all I have is L8.  Is there an option to save a L9 project so  
that it can be opened with L8?
