Re: [Logic_Cafe] Auditioning Midi in the Browser

2009-12-29 by biggjohn@verizon.net

set your finder view to the cloumns view and when you highlight a particular midi, a preview box will appear in the last column on the right. click on the black box with the 1/8 note icon to start and stop the preview. unfortunately you have to restart the preview every time you select a different midifile. it's not that big of a deal, but it would be nice if there was an "autoplay" feature with the previews

Hi,
Does anybody know how to audition General Midi Files In the browser...I just got a bunch of cool new Midi loops that when imported into the arrange area they play just fine...but I can't audition them in the browser. Dragging them to the arrange area just to hear what each individual midi file sounds like is just too time consuming, as i'm sure you all can imagine. So...I need a way to audition them in the browser. Can anyone shed some light.
