go to the configure window and select the lock icons to show on the 
tracks in the arrange page. then you can unclick them.

Could somebody tell how to get tracks out of the safe locked mode? I 
locked them, because I didn't want to record over them by accident. 
Now, I can't figure out how to unlock them. Thanks.....
