Re: Can't Delete Object

2011-01-08 by Brian

Whenever I get something weird like that happening, I save the file under a new name to be safe and keep the existing version of it with the old name. Then, I'll close everything and shut off my computer. Sometimes, you can get a bug in the operating system or in Logic on start up, which solves itself after you turn the whole system on again.

Check to see if you still have a buss knob open on one or more of the channel strips for buss 3 on your mixer. When you go to the buss channel in the upper hand corner, go from viewing "all" to "single". That should really tell you if there is indeed any buss knob being being used on any other channel strip, which is probably what the conflict is. Of course, if you go to your aux channel strip, you can delete the channel's I/O input, which should take care of the problem and make it easier for you to delete the entire channel.
