Re: [Logic_Cafe] no audible audio in sample editor

2011-01-19 by Irfon-Kim Ahmad

I'm not using 9, but in earlier versions, the audio playback in the
various audio bin and sample edit windows always played back on a
specific track -- I think Audio 1. If you have that muted or routed
interestingly, then it might not play back. I think you can also
specify somewhere which track it uses, so you might want to dig around
for that and make sure it's set to a track that's available and routed
properly.

All volume controls are up, routing is simply stereo out, and everything else in Logic seems to be working fine. This has never worked for me using Logic 9.1.3 and my iMac (2.93 GHz Intel Core i7, 16 GB). Long-time Logic user, but this has me baffled. I might be missing something obvious.
