Sounding off

Sounds like some of you have had a bad experience, or lack the know how to
properly troubleshoot your system when things go awry. For what it's worth:

I switched over to Logic 6 after 2 years pulling out my hair with Cubase.
Before that I used Studio Visio Pro. I've had Logic Pro 7 since the day it
came out. I run it on my PB 17 1GHz w/ 1 GB RAM. I've had virtually no
problems whatsoever. I got updates for plugs that failed validation and then
I enabled all plugs, even the ones that failed the validator. I use NI
Komplete 2 but to be honest, I've had so much fun with the new Logic plugs
and new presets for the older plugs (the ES2 pres are amazing!) so I haven't
used Komplete as much as I used to. I use a few other plugs like Zebra and
Crystal. The only plugs that don't work that I've found are both organ
plugs--the B4 and the EB3.

I mostly make psytrance and some breaks. I use Logic on average of 6 to 8
hours a day with up to 15 or so MIDI and audio tracks and god knows how many
plugins. I ditched my 8 or so modules last year and I'm all soft studio now.

I'm thrilled to say--my Logic works like a charm!
