For years now I have had as part of my autoload, a strummer environment 
setup which allows you to play with one finger  and what comes out 
depending on which note you hit - all the open major and minor guitar 
chords in up stroke & down stroke. It utilises a combination of chord 
memorisers and arpegiators and it works very well. You can control the 
speed of the strums by varying the arpegiator.
