Brass Libraries and mBox

I have a project coming up soon - it's a talking book version of a
kids' movie that is currently in release, and I need to compose
music for it that is close to the original score but not too close. I
was wondering if anyone could recommend an EXS library of
brass and reed samples that incorporates growls, blats, falls
and other jazzy articulations that are featured very prominently
throughout the movie. We have the Sonic Implants Strings, and
the Dan Dean Brass, which are both great collections, but they're
straight-ahead classical performances, and I really need more of
a John Barry sound to make this pop.

Also, I have another project going on that involves a lot of
orchestration, and the client wants every thing done at 48K
24-bit. My dual-1G G4 is having problems bouncing out the
arrangements, (lots of spurious clicks and CPU overload
messages), so I've decided to go ahead and get a dual 2.5 G5. I
currently use an MAudio Delta 66 PCI as my main interface, and
an mBox for when I neeed to do something in ProTools. The
Delta will not work in the G5's PCIx slot without a modification
that MAudio offers for $50.00. The problem with that is the
turn-around time is about 2.5 weeks. So I'm thinking I can get by
with the mBox for now, but thought I remembered hearing about
problems people were having with Logic and the mBox. I
searched the archives, and have gotten a lot of hits from threads
in which some guy calling himself "mbox online" has posted or
been replied to, but nothing that specifically mentions mBox
issues. Anyone have any positive or negative experiences they'd
like to share?
