Re: Dual Sound Card

2005-02-07 by Jon Pyre

Great! I've been digging around net forums a little today and
though it seems very unlikely that people get two soumd cards
running they don't do it often and it's a tricky operation when they
do. I don't know what kind of problems you experianced trying to go
back to one, but I'd like to hear about it. I think it's a matter
of windows wanting to use one or the other sound card as default for
certain programs, but there also seems to be an accessing hardware
problem as in any given program won't access or route to different
hardware out. I have, however had sucess midichaining stand alone
software to host secuencers and routing audio out through both
simultaneously. Also, I've been reading that M Audio gear can
handle multiple cards of the same brand.
