Re:g5 and crashes

2005-02-23 by Glenn Rueger

I don't have crashes with GPO or any others. Or, I shouldn't say no
crashes ever, but none traced to a particular plug in. I have all
kinds of demos in my components folder, some that never launch in Logic
so I wonder if it's something else.

Do you use OS 10.3.7? That's where I'm at now. I may go for the
update to .8 but I usually wait about a month and check for horror
stories.

Have you repaired permissions? I try to avoid doing that more than
once a month or two but sometimes it seems to clear things up.

I'm going to rent Fight Club. I've been hearing it mentioned like 3
times this week!
Good Luck,
-Glenn

May I ask, do you not have any crashes when using GPO? it seems to

EXS24 so we would not have to deal with the NI player.

(other than "don't ask questions about GPO. If this is your first time
using
GPO you WILL have a crash."... kind of a joke if you have ever seen
