thanks for the response - ultrabeat has a whole step sequencer UI, 
which would be nice to use rather than trying to write midi info in the 
sequencer.

which would be nice to use rather than trying to write midi info in the
sequencer.


It would be nice to go back and forth between step sequencer and midi. the step sequencer should generate the midi automatically, and then you can edit it, or when you make a variation of a midi region, then it should automatically create a new step seq part in Ultrabeat when you open it. Otherwise its too much hassle to use the step seq and i just stick to the midi.

I have several other programs that I don't even open anymore. Once 
tried, it's easily understandable why not to do it any other way.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
