virtual keyboard

virtual keyboard

I wanted to try out some shareware virtual instruments on my ibook. I can run them through Rax (shareware) allows a single virtual instrument but there is no keyboard on the screen to play the sounds. Garageband has a little keyboard but doesn't seem to be able to run non-Apple virtual instruments. Am I missing something? Or is there a shareware software keyboard that would allow me to use the trackpad of the ibook to press keys and hear some sound?

In Logic you can get a virtual keyboard by pressing caps lock.

Maurits.

Thanks but I only have one dongle. I use Logic on my G5 and I don't want to clutter it with demoware or shareware.
