Match EQ

Match EQ

2005-07-25 by Gregory Anderson

Can someone help me use the Match EQ? The manual tells about all the
features, but doesn't give the step by step that my poor mind needs.

Right now I am doing the following:

Put MEQ on a reference track.
Hit LEARN (Template) at the beginning and end of desired passage.
Save as present

Go to MEQ on crappy track
Load saved preset
Hit MATCH (Current Material)
Hope it works.

But this seems to have no impact on my track, and I can't tell the
difference between the effect and bypass.

Now I see that if I change the "View" button to "FILTER", you get
extreme results, but they sound horrible.

Is there a step (or 9) that I am missing?

Thanks,

Gregory
