I'm not too keen on Ultrabeat either, but I do love Battery 2, and even though iDrum is a cool little app, I haven't gotten out of it the best of sound quality. Could be me though. I've just purchased fxpansion's GURU after seeing it in use by a friend of mine's, and I was pretty blown away. It's not cheap, but it seems to have everything I'm looking for in a beatbox, including beat slicing. It just got a 10/10 in Future Music's current issue. Might be worth a look into. I'll post more after I've played with it a while. Ian
