A Nifty Couple of Logic Tricks (keyboard shortcuts)

Hey Guys,
I've discovered two tricks lately that I'd like to share.
The first is that when you are tracking something that takes multiple tries to record (a
vocal part, guitar ... whatever!). Select your track/s for recording, of course. Then use *
on the number pad to begin recording. Here's the cool part: once the performance is
screwed up just push the * again! It will erase what you did and immediately begin
clicking off the count again!! Try it! It's great. So much easier than "stop" "delete" "are
you sure?" "yes" "record."
Second one: from the arrange window (this is in Logic 6 but it probably works in 7 too).
Hold down the apple key and the arrow turns into a different tool. I think that the default
might be a pencil (useless except for automation). While holding the apple, click on the
scissor tool. Now, every time you hold down the apple key you get a pair of scissors. This
saves me a lot of time when I need to go between scissors and pointer!
Take care everybody!
