studio furniture

Can anyone recommend a good source for studio furniture/racks. I want
to remodel and get a clean well organized set up and maximum efficiency
of my small room (about 11 x 11). I really liked Propellerheads'
station at NAMM and asked about them, but they were custom made setups
and only able to hold rack stuff - not keyboards or large monitors.

There are several suppliers:

Omnirax
http://www.omnirax.com/site/

Middle Atlantic
http://www.middleatlantic.com/

Raxxess
http://www.raxxess.com/

Most of these products are available through online dealers like
Musician's Friend and Sam Ash. Guitar Center carries some products in
stock.

You might want to consider buying the parts (rack rails, etc.) and
having someone local custom-build your furniture. Although I'm a big
believer in off-the-shelf products, I finally built a custom writing
console (similar to Mark Isham's, which you can see at
http://www.isham.com/computer.html). It wasn't nearly as expensive as
I had imagined, and it's custom tailored to the way I work. Of
course, it has taken nearly 15 years of working on off-the-shelf stuff
to determine how I work. :-)

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
