I can't find rack ears for my two table top synths (access, novation) neither new nor on ebay. Are there any workarounds or jerryrigged solutions?

Thanks. They seem to be German only. and a search for rack ears came up empty. This rack ear business is actually quite a scam - $55 for two tiny bits of metal - that if they were sold at home depot would be $1.
