new to the daw world/whats the best way to get help and start writing music..

working with logic express, but the whole DAW world confuzes me. looking for tips on getting started or tutorials I can take to help stop the confuzion and start expressing myself. How do I take sample, i.e. one shot drum samples, vocal samples, and/or loop samples FROM RECORDS.. start progaming drums, PLEASE HELP i have a knowledge of analog gear but none of this whole computer game.. PLEASE HELP thank you/peace love and unity
