Apple Logic Pro /LogicExpress Discussion

I'm new to logic express. That said

what is the maximun number of audio channels allowed in logic express
I am importing -dragging- channels into a project and
after the 22nd channel I get the warning of no more available channels.
what is the workaround to this?

22 seems to be an odd number, but its probably because some of your tracks 
are stereo which count as 2 and some are mono. So if there were 24 (mono) tracks 
allowed, then you would get 2 stereo (4 mono) + 20 mono tracks.

thank you for your reply.
I already found the how to for this, shift click on the channels with
the pencil tool allows the insertion of new tracks.
