Yeah just the whole shit ness of it ..
I just think it has lost so much ground over the years to other programs.
I think logic should be doing now what ableton and melodyne do together.
That's where logic was at version 1 when I started using it.
So bow down and chow down.
That fucking shit head
I hate cocks like that..
Fucking doesn't even read the post before he tries to come in with his

I never said logic didn't work - fucking anal pig whore cunt fuck..

Thanks for bringing this group down. I see we are not moderated. And if we are then this kind of talk should be keep out. Wankers like this give the UK a bad name and will give this group one as well. If this is to be allowed Im out of here. Also if you (Kristian) are still on 6.4 then you don't know what Logic audio is about anymore. There have been major improvements and additions to it since then. I will forward your website to my music making friends and DJ's in the UK. Hey thanks. Sorry I just ate the wrong pill.
I should have had the blue one.
I got logic 7 but I didn't like it - I gave it back
The screen was too dark
Can you make it lighter now?
Also can you put backgrounds in ?

Gotta watch them pills. ; ). Im not sure what you mean by the screen was to dark, but you can set up all the custom colors you want for tracks windows etc. I went crazy with it for a while and have calmed down.. a little. One of the greatest things about logic is its ability to be set it up in the way that you work best, then save that as an autoload so it opens as your setup every time. The other major advance with 7 over version 6 is that all the logic virtual instruments come with it ( pro version) and there are a lot of them. See the apple site. If you are doing dance electronica etc. the Ultrabeat drum synth and the ESX24 sampler are awesome. I say that as I looked at your website. Remixing with apple loops works killer and you can use Reason software with rewire in Logic as well. These are all new or improved since version 6. Give it another try if you can on a New Mac and I think you will agree its the best at what it does. On Aug 12, 2006, at 5:00 PM, Kristian Weston wrote: > Hey thanks. No I don't agree it is best at what it does.
The only thing it does that is different from all the other sequencers
around is the environment.
But the environment is seriously lacking in several regards the last time I
looked.
I can do what I used the environment for much easier in something else.
Can you tell me what has changed since I last bothered looking ?
That will be 7.1 ?

> No I don't agree it is best at what it does. > best or not, it does what it does adequately. i've grown comfortable with it, and get things done. it seems many of the pros use logic, protools, or live, or sometimes one of the others like cubase. in my case, i don't necessarily need to have the best, i just need to have something stable that will be around, so I don't have to convert all of my music to another format and have a new learning curve. apple owning logic means its going to be around indefinitely, unlike Studio Vision or Personal Composer. logic also has the advantage now, of having a lot of extra books written for it which it did not have at all when i started. I've only been using logic (7.2) for about two months now (was a sonar
user for years, but I have dumped my windoze system in favor of a
macbook pro...), but I'm really astounded about the richness and
control of the onboard VST's. Sculpture is one of the most sophisticated
synthesizers that I've ever put my hands on, hardware or software.

> I'm really astounded about the richness and > control of the onboard VST's > Thats very cool. I am sure there will be some learning curve items with the different systems. FYI, the only standard plugin types you can use in Logic are AU (audio units) and the builtin Logic instruments like Sculpture which are built in to Logic. You can use VST's but only with a wrapper program that costs about $75. This was a decision by Apple, because Abelton Live does AU's and VST's right out of the box, as does Melodyne.
