> No I don't agree it is best at what it does. > best or not, it does what it does adequately. i've grown comfortable with it, and get things done. it seems many of the pros use logic, protools, or live, or sometimes one of the others like cubase. in my case, i don't necessarily need to have the best, i just need to have something stable that will be around, so I don't have to convert all of my music to another format and have a new learning curve. apple owning logic means its going to be around indefinitely, unlike Studio Vision or Personal Composer. logic also has the advantage now, of having a lot of extra books written for it which it did not have at all when i started.
