I talked to a guy in the apple store today. It might be a good idea to put off any purchases of new macs for two weeks until jan 10 when Apple may announce new models and then discount current models - but no one knows for sure what will happen then.
They were selling Logic Pro, although they only had LE on the sample computers. I got a new ipod with the iTalk so I can record song ideas while walking in the park.
So no one has heard any rumblings about new audio boards for PCI-X?
