Apple Logic Pro /LogicExpress Discussion

I am trying to find out if anybody on the list knows if there is a
group buy list for logic pro 7 going on to which i can subscribe, and
if not what has to be done and whom one has to address in order to
start one.

I have never seen a group buy for logic. You can get the express version of 
course which is always on discount. You can sometimes find it on ebay but 
beward of academic versions which can not be upgraded. I have had some good and bad 
luck with software on ebay. I got a couple of good deals (Altiverb and Stylus 
RMX) however I bought several EastWest things from the US, UK, Australia and 
Spain ... and all were pirated crap with totally illegal serial number 
generators (windows only though). The ads look totally realistic - one even said 
"Hurry only three copies left" then I get these homemade DVDs. I opened disputes 
with all of them, and got my money back from all but one so far.
