Apple Logic Pro /LogicExpress Discussion

I want to export audio to a movie, but to only one scene of the  
movie. When I export audio to movie, I get a file that is the whole  
movie, setting the locators doesn't help. Do I have to trim the movie  
in Quicktime down to the 1 scene?
