Akai MPD24 is pretty dam cool to say the least!

Hi all, well I've been using the Akai MPD24 midi pad controller for
about a week, and first impressions are all good. I tend to bash away
on my midi controllers pretty hard, so it remains to be seen how
longlasting it is - but given the solid feel of the unit, I'd say
it'll last well.

I've posted a <a

MPD24 review</a> with tons of photos, if you're interested in checking
it out in detail.

cheers
Funky Drummer

Is there anything about it that you think particularly
recommends it above similar controllers, such as the M-Audio Trigger
Finer?
My Trigger Finger was in a bag that got stolen at LAX, and I
need to replace it.
