Import Lyrics?

Import Lyrics?

2007-01-26 by Gregory

I think the answer is "no," but I need to ask anyway.

Has anyone found a way to import lyrics into Logic? I hate having to retype all the lyrics to a
song AFTER I have entered in the melody, when I already have all the lyrics in a Word
document.

Any thoughts?

Gregory

Hi Gregory,
Don´t know where in Logic you need to see the lyrics.
If you´re in the habit of using markers you can copy/ paste the
different parts of the lyrics into the corresponding markers (verse 1
into the verse 1 marker etc) and make the (content of the) different
markers open up just before the lyrics begin (setting the markers to
open up a bar before each part maybe?). That way you´ll have the
lyrics for each part readily accessible onscreen.

All the best

you can copy the lyrics into a marker so they are with the song. thats fast,
but it doesn't solve your problem to print the lyrics with the music in sheet
music.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
