Hello,

does anyone know what are sf2 files?
Can I use them in Logic ? How ?
If it's not possible, can I convert them to aiff or wav files ?

They're SoundFont files.  The format was originally developed by 
Creative Labs for their SoundBlaster cards.

You can open a sf2 bank in EXS24 which will then proceed to convert it 
to wav or aiff and create the corresponding EXS instruments.

I'm pretty sure I've used SDII files right in Logic, by way of drag/drop into arrange window.  I 
imported one into iTunes last week.  Was surprised that although iTunes would import the 
thing and play it, it would not burn it to a CD for me!!   So use the convert (right click, or 
contro-click on the title) function, you can convert to .wav, aiff using that by setting the 
import encoder in iTunes/preferences/advanced/importing.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
