drummers/bass online

2007-03-28 by GAmoore@aol.com

There was a bit on NPR today about solo musicians working at home, and then
having pro's play drums or bass or other instruments on their tracks via the
internet. You submit your stuff to them via email, they return professionally
recorded drum or bass for a fee of course. It wasn't mentioned on the radio but
there are also mixing and mastering too.

In particular there are these "broker" sites to hook you up :
http://www.sessionplayers.com/
http://www.esession.com/

Here is the studio drummer (which sounded really good on the radio)
http://www.e-studio-drummer.com/

Good to hear about these guys!!

I wanted to give a shout out for our local guy here. He's a first call drummer in Denver
that's hooked up to record tracks, has a great little studio in his place. Has a web
business with it. I haven't used him on projects yet, but he's always on my radar screen
for production. I hear great reports about his playing and about his customer service.

APOLOGIES!!! Re: drummers/bass online

2007-03-29 by pete_buchwald

Group,

Very sorry for the multiple posts ... It was some kind of glitch I guess. I posted while
working in a university computer lab.

I have no idea how that happened!

Pete
